Hello friends! My church recently requested some Welcome, Congratulations, and Thinking of You cards. I decided to use an older collection by Echo Park called Have Faith. I also used quite a few Queen & Company sketches and foundation dies for my cards. To make sure the cards weren’t too thick, I used Love From Lizi Peel Offs for embellishments. That way, my church won’t have to pay extra postage to mail the cards.

I do not have a process video for this set of cards since I worked on it off and on while recovering from my recent glaucoma surgery. I was actually only going to make a few cards for my church, but next thing I knew, I had finished off the paper pad. Lol! That means I get to add a check mark next to Older Paper Pad for my 2021 goals. Yay!

I used my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial and one paper pad to make 29 cards.

I did record a quick show and tell video if you want to hear more explanation about each card.

Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.

Or, go HERE to watch it on Rumble.

Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. All of my cards are A2 size. For sketches that don’t include measurements, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Echo Park’s Have Faith 6×6 paper pad.

  • Happy to hear that you are recovering and doing well from your glaucoma surgery.
My goal this year is to use up my old 12 x 12 designer paper and put a freeze on buying any new paper but your lovely cards with the new packs is always a temptation! Love all your cards whether it’s a new or old pack!!
Just a note, I was using your link and code for tape jungle but it said it had expired.
Thank you for all your inspiration and sharing your talents!

    • Thank you so much, Ann! Sorry about the enabling when I use new paper collections. I have a weakness when it comes to pattern papers. Lol!
I don’t know why my Tape Jungle code isn’t working. They never told me it would expire. I’ve emailed them a couple times and haven’t heard back yet. If you are placing an order, you can use my friend Beth’s code. At least you will still get a discount then. Her code is BOURBONCREEKCRAFTS

  • Wow–these are so bright, pretty and welcoming! I love your fresh interpretation of OWH 154. You are really helping me to use sketches as a starting point and changing things up. Thank you for your awesome inspiration! Hope your recovery is going well!

    • Thanks, Jennifer! This was a fun set of cards to make. I always enjoy using Queen & Company’s foundation dies. I’m glad you are having fun using sketches and feeling comfortable to change them up a bit. Have a wonderful day! 🙂

  • As usual, wonderful cards! Thank you also for listing all of your supplies and materials used in the video. I especially love when you feature Queen & Co sketches since I own all of their foundation dies. Glad to hear your surgery went well and you are on the mend. God Bless.

  • Lovely and encouraging set of cards, Kristie. I know the church will really appreciate the effort and pretty cards. I know you are a prolific crafter, but every once in a while, especially if you need to give your eyes a break, you could do posts like this where you shared the finished card without the process. Maybe it’s a little less eye work for you? Regardless, thank you always for the inspiration you share. Crafty hugs!
