Hello friends! I turned another 6×6 paper pad into a set of cards. This time I made patriotic cards from Echo Park’s Yankee Doodle collection. I really enjoyed the fun patriotic colors and designs in the collection. It’s a bit different from other patriotic papers Echo Park has released since the colors are more muted.
I will be sharing this set of cards with the residents at a nearby retirement home after I include a handwritten message. But since I am way ahead on my holiday cards, this set will be set aside until at least 2028.
I used my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial and one paper pad to make 31 cards.
Here is the cardstock I pulled before starting on the 6×6 paper pad. I always pull out way more cardstock than I ever use. I list the brands and colors if I have the information. Some of my cardstock has been in my craft room for many, many years.
In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 2 sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ and 10 sheets of 12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.

Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. All my cards are American standard A2 size. For sketches that don’t include measurements, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Echo Park’s Yankee Doodle 6×6 paper pad.
