Welcome to Part Eleven in my newest 6×6 Series. I’m using Doodlebug Design’s Cream & Sugar collection to make cards using my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial.

I still had a good amount of scraps left after the last sketch, so I decided to make a couple cards using the My Favorite Things quilt die. This is one of my favorite die cuts ever!

Quilt die cut – My Favorite Things

Stamp – Reverse Confetti

Stitched circle die cut – Lawn Fawn

Ink – Memento

I made 2 quilt cards.

Stay tuned for tomorrow’s blog post where I will be sharing the latest video using my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial, as well as the group shot of all the cards I made from Doodlebug Design’s Cream & Sugar paper collection.

  • I like this quilt die, but have not purchased it. I look at most all your posts and I appreciate your expertise. Since OWH quit sending cards to the military I looked for another place to send them. An officers wife suggested Fisher House. I now send cards the FH that is located in Hawaii since that is where my son was stationed. The houses are used to for military families who are seeking medical care,in this case at Tripler Medical Center. Thanks for all the sketches you share. I run out of ideas and you and Pinterest are my friends. I also love 6×6 pads of paper. I am going to get to work on some now! Blessings to you and your family.

  • Thank you, Gerri! I really appreciate your kindness! Since the closure of OWH, I've really cut down on how many cards I make. Currently, I've only been donating my cards to my church. But I've also been sending more cards personally to people. I just love that you have found another organization to donate your cards to. Thank you for your giving heart. I'm sure your cards are such a blessing to so many military families. Happy crafting to you!

  • What a beautiful card Kristie! I love this quilt die too and was inspired by you and another lady to buy it. I haven't used it yet though! lol I need to get on that. Thanks for all you inspiration! Hugs, Brenda

  • Thank you, Brenda! I hope you enjoy using the die as much as I do. I've definitely gotten my money's worth for it.
