Hello friends! It’s a new month, that means new Spellbinders club kits! Seriously, how is it August already?
For the rest of the year, I’m using Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil Club. It’s called Overflowing Floral. The kit includes 2 hot foil plates and a roll of glimmer foil. Colors vary on what color foil you will receive. The lovely floral image is really pretty and this month, there’s a coordinating stencil set. I love using the stencils to add color to the lovely hot foiled images.
I made 3 cards using the August club kit. Two cards feature the coordinating stencil set. I used the same ink colors. One on kraft and the other on white shimmer cardstock. For the third card, I didn’t use the stencils. I used some pretty teal glimmer foil on white shimmer cardstock. I think all 3 versions are pretty. The August club also includes a foil plate sentiment, but I decided to use a stamped sentiment for my cards.
I did used patterned paper from Catherine Pooler for the background of my cards.
