Hello friends! I am guest designing for Pink & Main using their April Crafty Courtyard subscription box. The kit goes on sale March 25th and will start shipping April 15th. As with most monthly kits, there are a limited number available.
*UPDATE* The kit is now SOLD OUT.
Go HERE to see everything that’s included in the kit.
The kit theme is Galaxy. The 6×6 paper pad is a beautiful collection with silver foil accents on every design. I just love the bright colors, especially since there’s some pink.
I made 20 cards using the April subscription box by Pink & Main.
Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.
Most products used are from the April Pink & Main Subscription Box. I did include some additional card stock, ink, dies, and a few other items from my craft stash.
Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. Operation Write Home and the newer Mojo Monday sketches are the only ones that already provide measurements. For all the other sketches, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. All of my cards are A2 size. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using the April Subscription Box by Pink & Main.

When you pull apart a 6×6 pad how do you decide which card sketches to use
Those papers are great fun and you did a fabulous job showcasing them, Kristie!
Love your card and those papers!
What a great paper pack–great shine on those pretty colors. I loved seeing you go "off-sketch"–it's fun to see where your creativity takes you. Thank you for another video!
PS I like your new video intro!
I usually just select a couple sketches to get started. They may be new to me sketches, or sketches that will work well with a specific sentiment or image. After that, I choose one sketch at a time based on what papers I still have available. 🙂
Thank you, Jeanne! I really enjoyed this fun galaxy themed kit!
Thank you! It was such a fun paper collection to use. 🙂
Thanks, Jennifer! The paper collection is just beautiful. But it was a bit more challenging since all of the designs are very similar. I decided to just do my own thing for most of the cards this time and really liked how they turned out. 🙂
Thanks! I am very happy with the new intro. Especially since it's PINK!!! 🙂
Is there somewhere that you show how you store all your printed out card sketches? Are they just in like a 3 ring binder or?
I have shared a picture on my Instagram page of the expandable file folder I use to hold all the card sketches. It's not fancy, but it works for me. 🙂
My friends and I love your cards, and have been making your cards for quite a few months now. We joined the pink and main club and have enjoyed the cards you've made with the kits. I didn't think I would like the April kit until I saw your cards. Thank you for making me like it. So, we have been waiting to see what you would do with the May kit. Just wondering if you will be doing cards for the May kit. Thanks Kristie.
Thank you, Gail! I appreciate your kindness and I'm glad to hear you and your friends are enjoying the Pink & Main kits. I really liked the April kit from the second I opened the box. The paper pad is just stunning! And the Wow embossing powder is gorgeous!
I'm not actually on Pink & Main's design team and only guest designed for their first 2 kits. I won't be using the May kit. But I will probably guest design again for them in the future since I enjoy their kits. 🙂
