Paper Rose Studio | Winter Blooms | 23 cards one 6×6 paper pad
Hello friends! It’s July! That means it’s time for Christmas in July videos! Yay! Paper Rose Studio just released several beautiful Christmas and winter paper collections and dies. There are 3 different collections along with 3 coordinating paper pads. So fun! I used the Winter Blooms 6×6 along with the 3 coordinating paper pads. The Winter Blooms is absolutely gorgeous. There are lots of fun image and sentiments included.
After making 23 cards, I only had a few small pattern paper scraps and some cut apart images leftover.
Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. All of my cards are A2 size. For sketches that don’t include measurements, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Paper Rose Studio’s Winter Blooms 6×6 paper pad.

every time I watch you do a 6 x 6 paper pad, I wind up spending a lot of money! Thanks crafty sistah.LOL! So my question is how to find coordinating solid heavy cardstock to match cokors pf their collections. I like when you do an echo park one, and again, I spend a bundle, because I can always order the solids that coordinate with the prints not only in single sheets but in packs. When I’m going to Matt patterned paper, I want it a close match and dont always have that color in my stash. I previously bought winter rose and now winter blooms is on its way. But I would really like your recommendation on solid cardstock in these grays, blues, and greens.
Hello Cheryl! Sorry about the enabling! Lol! It’s the craft companies fault for making so many fun goodies though. 😉 I think I’ll use an Echo Park paper pad for my next 6×6 video. I have several I’d like to use. I own a ton of cardstock. Some has been around for many, many years. If I don’t have just the right colors, I take the paper pad to Joann’s. That’s where I buy the majority of my cardstock. I wait until it’s on sale though. I buy the individual sheets, except for a few colors. Black, kraft, white, navy blue. I never wrote down the cardstock colors I used with the Winter Blooms paper pad. I think the blue was an old Stampin Up color I was given by a friend. The dark teal is called Mysterious Teal and it’s made by Bazzill. The dark green is called Jade and it’s also by Bazzill.
Thank you for your reply. I have a lot of old stampin up whole packages of CS in 2006 (yikes) when I was a demonstrator, and usually find colors that match. I will get my order tomorrow from Scrapbook.com. I am hoping the SAGE from stamping up works. I used the navy for Winter Rose, but the pads navy was much brighter and bluer. But the rest I acquired is usually Bazzill, unless the same company has both coordinated paper pads and plain card stock. Queen and company does that and echo park. When it comes to reds, greens and blues, there are so many hues that I look to coordinate. Its a good tip to bring pads to Joanns because I do that with their Park lane patterned paper pads.
I do not sell paper. But I do have links at the end of my post where you can purchase it. Here’s a link where you can purchase the paper pad in the US. https://shrsl.com/321h9

What a lovely group of cards! I love Paper Rose products–thank you so much for introducing them to me!
Thank you so much! I love Paper Rose products as well. I’m so glad I “found” their booth at Creativation in 2020. 💗
