Hello friends! June was a super busy month for me. I can’t believe I didn’t do a single 6×6 video. So I decided to make sure to record a few in July. I started off with my first Christmas in July video using Paper Rose’s Winter Blooms collection. Next up is Altenew’s Wildflower collection. I bought the 6×6 paper pad and ephemera several months ago and just haven’t had a chance to use it. Until now. Yay! This collection is absolutely beautiful!

I used my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial and one paper pad to make 28 cards.

Because it takes many hours to turn a paper pad into cards, this video has been sped up 5 times. The real time recording was around 5 hours, not including any of my planning, prep, or die cutting time.

Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.

Or, go HERE to watch my video on Rumble.

Here is the cardstock I pulled before starting on the 6×6 paper pad. I always pull out way more cardstock than I ever use. I list the brands and colors if I have the information. Some of my cardstock has been in my craft room for many, many years.

In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 7 sheets of  8 1/2″ x 11″ and 9 sheets of  12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.

Cardstock colors –
Rose Quartz – Coredinations
Feather Boa – Bazzill
Merry – Coredinations
Medium Fairy Tale Pink – Color Mates
Quartz – Bazzill
Jade – Bazzill
Burgundy – Coredinations
Black – Recollections

Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. All of my cards are A2 size. For sketches that don’t include measurements, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Altenew’s Wildflower 6×6 paper pad.

  • Beautiful set of cards, Kristie. You have a great eye for card design. You seem to choose the best sketches to highlight the papers you are working with. I really like how you incorporated the pretty build a flower dies into these cards, too. Thanks so much for sharing. 🙂

  • I love this….first time watching you but definitely not the last……how many pieces of each colored cardstock did you use….and did you make your own base cards or use pre-made bases….thank you so much

    • Thank you so much! I appreciate your kindness, Ann! 💗 I used 7 sheets of 8 1/2 x11″ and 14 sheets of 12×12 solid colored cardstock. Not including the cardstock for my card bases. I purchase my card bases from a local paper store. I use 120# cardstock. I buy several cases and have them cut it into card base sizes for me. Then I score the card bases at home. Saves me so much time.
