I think I may be addicted to using cover-up dies for my cards lately. I actually assembled the background of this card several months ago, but never finished the card. I used a sentiment and die set from Reverse Confetti to add the final touches. This card was included in a recent box of cards I donated to a local organization. They always need a lot of thank you cards.

I love the cover up dies! That's a great card with fun (pink) papers. 🙂
This cover up die looks amazing with those papers. I really like the contrast of the colors against the black. So pretty, Kristie!
very pretty!
Thank you, Jennifer! I really enjoy using all the fun cover-up dies. 🙂
Thank you, Jeanne! I can't believe this is the first card I made using the chevron cover-up die. And I bought it quite awhile ago. 🙂
Thank you, Luz! 🙂
I’ve been thinking of buying these dies because of your cards. How tedious is it to run through a die cut machine?
Hi Linda! I love cover up die and I use them all the time. They can be a bit more work if you want different paper designs for each piece. But I don't mind. When using small scraps, I do run each piece separately through the die cut machine. If I tape the pieces to the die I can cut several pieces at the same time. But you could also just cut the outer frame of the die and layer it over a single sheet of design paper.
