Hello friends! It’s Thursday and that means a new card challenge. My goal is to post a new one every week. Everyone is welcome to join me by sharing their cards on my Instagram or Facebook pages.

The new challenge is Something Sweet. Make a card featuring a sweet food. There is no time frame. Be sure to check out all the entries for extra inspiration and leave some love. We can all use friendly encouragement right now. ?

The paper is an older Doodlebug collection called Fruit Stand. For my first set of cards, I used a fun honeycomb cover die from Studio Katia. I love cover up dies for really utilizing the last pattern paper scraps.

  • I love your challenges, and this one was so cheerful! Love those dies! I have a question regarding the Art Glitter liquid adhesive you use. Does it have glitter in it? I have seen you (and some other crafters) use it on the backs of cardstock (where it doesn't show), so I was curious if it's just great adhesive or less expensive than other types? It also says it dries clear, which makes me wonder about the glitter… Do you use it for its glitter properties at all? I know–so many questions! Thanks for another great challenge!!

  • Thanks, Jennifer. I've been having fun thinking of new themes every week for the challenges.
Art Glitter is just the name of the glue. There's no glitter in it at all. It's a great liquid glue, especially if you purchase the fine metal tip to go with it. There's a pin that you keep in the lid to prevent clogs. All the other glues I have used before clog. Very frustrating while I'm working on my videos. I think the price is pretty comparable. I bought a 4 oz bottle over 9 months ago and I still have at least 1/3 left. You really don't have to use much and it holds nicely. I rarely ever use glitter, so I can't answer that question. But the instructions on the bottle list that it works for glitter. I highly recommend it! 🙂

  • Thank you so much! I'll have to try it. Seems to last a very long time, and the tip & cap design is a great idea.
