Hello friends! I’ve been so busy making Christmas cards, I decided to take a quick break and start a new challenge. The theme is Something Old, Something New. Create a card featuring something you’ve had in your craft room for a long time and also something new. It could be paper, embellishments or even a tool. It doesn’t have to be the latest and greatest crafty item, just something new to you. Be sure to mention what your Old and New products are when you share your card.

There is no time frame. Share your cards on my Instagram or Facebook pages. Be sure to check out all the entries for extra inspiration and leave some love. We can always use some friendly encouragement. 💖

If you want to play along with the challenge, use hashtag

For my something old, I used an Echo Park collection from 2013 called Reflection. For my something new, I used the Tim Holtz deckle trimmer. I ended up making 2 of the same card.

Sketch – OWH #218
Paper – Echo Park – Reflections collection
Sentiment stamp – Paper Smooches – Sentiment Sampler set
Peel Offs – Love From Lizi
Ink – Versafine Clair
