Hello friends! I know my page has been a bit quiet lately. And I missed posting my next card challenge. Life has been busy and I’ve been working on some projects that will be shared later this month. Lots of fun stuff. But I now have my new card challenge ready to go. I will plan on posting the next challenge on July 23rd. (I already have a fun idea for it.) Please continue sharing your cards. I love seeing all the wonderful entries shared on my Instagram or Facebook pages.

The new challenge is Christmas in July. Pretty simple. Make a Christmas card.  You can use any sketch/design. There is no time frame. Be sure to check out all the entries for extra inspiration and leave some love. We can all use friendly encouragement right now. 💖

For my card, I used a Love From Lizi paper collection, The Magic of Christmas. I made some cards using it last year and still have quite a bit leftover. I decided to follow Mojo Monday’s newest slimline card sketch for my cards.

Sketch – Mojo Monday #540
Paper and image stickers – Love From Lizi
Peel off stickers – Love From Lizi
Sentiment stamp – Honey Bee Stamps
Gold mirror cardstock – Love From Lizi
Ink – Reverse Confetti

  • I’ve been remiss about playing along. This looks like fun, Kristie. I will see what I can do to play along. You are doing great with the slimline card craze, too! Thanks for sharing! Have a terrific day.

    • No worries, Jeanne! Just play along when you have time. 🙂 I’m enjoying the slimline cards. But A2 size is still my favorite. (Especially since I bought a ton of A2 card bases earlier this year.)

    • Thank you so much, Julee! I loved the new slimline sketch. I hope we will be seeing more. Thank you for always sharing your talent. 🙂

  • Hi Kristie, I’m using this sketch and wondering which envelope you use for mailing? Thank you!

    • Hello Joanne! I haven’t actually mailed this size card yet. I will probably use a size 10 business envelope for it. It works for regular slimline cards as well. 🙂

      • Thank you! I plan to check out my envelope punch board & did find some videos about making your own envelopes for slimline cards. I’m hoping not to make envelopes and will likely follow your suggestion. Have a great week.
