Hello friends! It’s time to say goodbye to 2020. It has definitely been a very memorable year. But as with every year, there are always blessings mixed in with the not-so-great moments.

The year started out great for me by traveling to Phoenix for Creativation. I loved getting to meet so many amazing crafty friends.

I also wrote down some crafty goals for the year. This was a first for me. (I didn’t meet all of my goals, but that’s okay.)

Then everything changed. A new virus started spreading around the world. This impacted everyone. In the crafty world, products were delayed with manufacturing. Since most paper crafters have enough supplies to last at least 2 lifetimes, I decided to start a card challenge encouraging everyone to use what you already have. So many people were in lockdown and staying home, but not feeling inspired to get crafty. I thought if I gave them some direction, it would help boost some mojo. The response was amazing! I enjoyed seeing everyone’s take on my card challenges.

With both of my kids doing distance learning for school, and my husband working from home for a couple months, I wasn’t sure how much crafty time I would have. Turns out, it was a lot! I focused on making sure I had enough cards every month for the residents at nearby retirement homes and also some small charities.

While my husband was still working from home, he found time to design my brand new website. There are a few things I want to change a bit, but I absolutely love the new format.

I also found time to record some videos that had been requested quite a bit over the years.

And throughout the year, I continued to make cards. A lot of cards.

2,157 cards to be exact

I posted 161 videos, including 40 paper pad videos.

I put together a slide show of all the photographed card pictures of 2020. (I don’t photograph every single card.)

Thank you for a super productive 2020 year. I appreciate all the encouragement and kindness.

I wish everyone a wonderful and crafty 2021.

A big thanks to all the companies that have provided me support, products, and affiliate opportunities.

right now. Thank you for your hard work.

  • Kristie, thank you for this past year of inspiration, I love when you post new videos, a cup of tea or lunch and your video is a great past time.
Your new website is easy to navigate and I do go back every once in awhile to see a card or technique I want to try.
As a senior I didn’t go anywhere except for groceries but with your help and great saleswomanship I spent a lot on supplies 😄 that were delivered to my door.
You got me out of my comfort zone and I participated in your challenges, I have a friend who also challenged a group of friends monthly and I was able to donate over 900 cards this past year.
I sure hope that we are done with this Covid virus soon but in the meantime I look forward to more amazing card making videos.
Happy New Year from a dedicated fan.
