Hello friends! I hope everyone is staying cool and having a lovely summer. Western Washington generally doesn’t get super hot in the summertime, but we have had temps in the 90’s already. Whew! Too hot for me! Hot temperatures make me want to head to the mountains or to the beach. I haven’t had time to do either yet this summer, so instead I made some seaside cards using Honey Bee Stamps new Vitamin Sea paper collection.

Instead of the traditional 6×6 size, they now offer 6 x 8 1/2″ paper pads. I love the new size! It’s even easier to make multiples. Yay!

I focused my cards mostly on the pretty pattern paper, but I also used some new stamp and die sets from their Perfect Day release.

Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. All my cards are American standard A2 size. For sketches that don’t include measurements, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Honey Bee Stamps Vitamin Sea paper pad.

  • These cards are so lovely, Kristie. I like the color palette, soft and elegant. Well done! I’m glad you don’t get too hot where you live. We are doing some baking in my neck of the woods, but I know other places are even hotter than we are. We’ve had so many days in the 90s and even triple digits already this summer and we’ve got a ways to go! Stay creative and crafty. Hopefully you can sneak a trip to the mountains or beach here really soon!

  • A great way to beat the heat if you can’t get to the beach. 🙂 It should “tide” you over for a while. (sorry!)
Love this paper and stamp collection and the great shells and turtle!! TFS and stay cool!
