Hello friends. I figured it was time to disappear another 6×6 paper pad. I used Echo Park’s I am Mom collection. It’s a beautiful paper pad with soft pastels and navy blue. I love the assortment of pattern papers. Florals, graphic designs, aprons, and cars. And my favorite is the camera paper since I’m such a shutterbug.

This paper pad does include several sheets of cut aparts, but I decided not to use them this time since they are mostly about Mom Life. They are very fun, but I really needed more General and Thank You cards to donate to a local charity.

I used my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial and one paper pad to make 36 cards.

Because it takes many hours to use up a 6×6 paper pad, this video has been sped up 7 times. The real time recording was just over 4 1/2 hours, not including any of my planning, prep, or die cutting time. Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.

In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 7 sheets of  8 1/2″ x 11″ and 12 sheets of  12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.

Cardstock colors –

Sugar N Spice – Darice

Candy Hearts – Bazzill

Cobalt Blue – Darice

Deep Navy – Coredinations

Black – Recollections

Tonic Specialty cardstock

Pearlescent – Blue Frost

Satin mirror – Frosted Silver

Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. Operation Write Home and the newer Mojo Monday sketches are the only ones that already provide measurements. For all the other sketches, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. All of my cards are A2 size. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Echo Park’s I am Mom 6×6 paper pad.

  • Such a fun & bright paper pad–lot's of different styles that all seem to go together! (at least when you use them.) My faves this time where MFT 419 and FMS 249. I am very impressed that your MjM 238 squares are so even! I love that pearlescent paper, too. Thank you for another inspiring video!

  • Kristie, that is very impressive and very generous and kind of you to make the video and share all the card photos and sketches! Visiting you is like attending an entire weekend of workshops!! Thank you! Hugs, Darnell

  • What a fun paper pad and your cards show off the papers beautifully. I like how you showed off the everyday. Wonderful selection of sketches. I look forward to watching the video. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication! Hugs!

  • How do you find your coordinating cardstock? Do you buy when you grab a paper pad or just go through your stash when you decide to use one? I have found this to sometimes be my limiting item.
Thanks! I love these videos and posts. It's helping me use up some of my paper hoard!

  • Thank you! I really enjoyed the different color palette of this paper collection. My squares aren't perfectly even on Mojo Monday #238. But I think I've used that sketch enough times that I can now get them pretty straight. It also helps to have a good paper trimmer. 🙂

  • Aw, thank you for your kind words Darnell. I really appreciate it. There is definitely a lot of time and work involved posting all the videos and blogs. But I know many people really enjoy seeing the closeups and using the card sketches. I hope you have a beautiful day! 🙂

  • Thanks, Jeanne! I've actually had the paper pad for a couple months now, but have been too busy to use it. My video to-do list is quite long and I just can't seem to ever make a dent in it. Lol! The paper company's need to slow down and let me catch up. 🙂

  • Thank you, Cynthia! I have a ton of cardstock in my craft room. So I always look through my own paper stash first. If I don't have the right colors, then I'll head out to the store. I take the paper pad with me to make sure the colors match nicely. I like to wait for a cardstock sale. (I generally buy it from Joann's.)

  • Joann's was having a big paper sale this weekend so I bought 5 6×6 packs to attempt to make as many cards as possible from each one. This is because of watching your videos that I am willing to step out and try. Thank you so much for the inspiration.

  • Hello Kristie,
thank you so much for your inspiring card making!! I love to watch your videos and I miss none.

    Hugs from Germany
    Christiana
