Echo Park – A Gingerbread Christmas – 25 cards from one 6×6 paper pad
Hello friends! Another Christmas paper pad has been turning into a set of cards. Yay! Is anyone else still working on Christmas cards, or am I the only one? I still have 4 or 5 collections I’d like to use this year, but I know that probably isn’t going to happen. Maybe at least 2 or 3 more, then it’s time to shift to winter cards.
Echo Park’s A Gingerbread Christmas was next on my list. They always make such fun collections. There are lots of coordinating pieces like ephemera, dies and stickers, but I only purchased the 6×6 paper pad this time. I used some of the included cut aparts, but also brought in some fun Christmas sentiment cut aparts by Paper Rose.
Because it takes many hours to turn a paper pad into cards, this video has been sped up 6 times. The real time recording was around 4 1/2 hours, not including any of my planning, prep, or die cutting time. Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.
Here is the cardstock I pulled before starting on the 6×6 paper pad. I always pull out way more cardstock than I ever use. I list the brands and colors if I have the information. Some of my cardstock has been in my craft room for many, many years.
In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 7 sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ and 7 sheets of 12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.
Cardstock colors – Black – Recollections Brown – unknown Scarlet – Coredinations Avocado – Bazzill
Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. All of my cards are A2 size. For sketches that don’t include measurements, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Echo Park’s A Gingerbread Christmas 6×6 paper pad.

Hi Kristie, I just purchased this paper pad for my 2021 Christmas cards! As always, I love your cards and I’m sure I’ll be following your lead. 🙂 Thank you for sharing and wishing you a Merry Christmas.
i love all of your echo park cards. ive purchased several sets to do. i plan to use them for next year. im just now finishing this year’s cards. thank you for your sharing! Gail
Uh, nope, you are not the only one! Thanks for the inspiration with this adorable set of cards, Kristie. If I don’t make them this year, can add it to the stash for next year, right? I wish you good luck finishing up your cards. 🙂
Great cards! I love that tree die from Paper rose. They make so many beautiful things. I just finished my Christmas cards yesterday, so you are not the only one. I will watch Christmas videos any time of year, but also really like when you have so many awesome Christmas card videos in Dec. I am binge watching this morning. 🙂 BTW, that dark red nail polish is awesome, and goes so nicely with the cream sweater.
Thank you, Jennifer! Awesome job finishing your Christmas cards. I can now say mine are officially finished as well. Yay! I’m not a big fan of red polish, but I do like the darker red color. 🙂

Glad I’m not the only one. Lol! I always end up with a few extra cards that I save for next year. 🙂
