Welcome to Part Two of my Christmas in July 6×6 Series. I am using the Here Comes Santa Claus collection from Doodlebug Design and my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorialto make Christmas cards.
I recorded the entire disappearing 6×6 process and also created separate videos for each sketch used. At the end of the 6×6 series, I will post the sped up version of the entire tutorial.
I used a square sketch from Mojo Monday and simply figured out the measurements for an A2 size card instead. Go HERE to see how I figure out sketch measurements. I love using layers on my cards. It has definitely become my style of card making. And the nice heavy weight card bases I use can handle the extra layers. I think adding layers can change a card from just a ‘Nice Card’ to a ‘Wow Card’. Whether I’m giving my cards to friends and family or to complete strangers, I want to make the very best card.
I made a total of 4 cards using this sketch.
Sketch – Mojo Monday #499
Stamp – Lawn Fawn
Stitched oval die cuts – Lil Inker Designs
Ink – Lawn Fawn
Brads – from stash
Thanks for visiting my blog today!

Thank you, Tracey! This paper collection is actually one of Doodlebug's releases from 2016. So it may be available for you. I haven't even seen when the new Christmas collections will be available.
Thanks Kristie.Fabulous I'll look out for it then. Think I may make some Christmas cards tomorrow sorting the craft room can wait another day……

You are very welcome. I hope you had a great day of crafting! 🙂
when I looked at the sketch, I thought it looked more square, but I love your cards for this sketch! Def CASEing you 🙂
Great job of converting this to an A2 card. More cuteness from Doodlebug. I am surprised I ever buy anything else. lol!
Thank you, Tammy! The Mojo Monday sketch was designed for a square card. But I figured out measurements for an A2 size card instead since that's the size I generally use.
Thank you, Jennifer! There have been very few Doodlebug paper collections that I haven't purchased. But I still try to get a few of some other brands. Although, I'm super fussy and will only use a few other brands of 6×6 paper pads.
