Hello! I just finished a pretty autumn 6×6 paper pad. I feel like I may be going backwards since my last 6×6 post was Christmas cards. But I’m still in the mood for more fall cards. And since it’s only November, it’s technically autumn.
I used the Flea Market collection from Doodlebug Design. This is from last year’s release since there wasn’t a new fall collection for 2017. I also decided to include a few of the Doodlepop stickers and Matte Sprinkles. I don’t buy the extras very often, especially because they add a lot of dimension, but the Doodlepop stickers are pretty cute. I also included more of the image and sentiment cut outs that are included in the paper collection.
Even though this is a fall collection, there are lots of papers that aren’t fall related, which makes it super versatile.
I used my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial and one paper pad to make 38 cards.
I recorded my entire process of disappearing the 6×6 paper pad. The video is sped up 7 times since the full recording time was just over 5 hours, not including any of my planning, prep, or die cutting time. Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.
In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 20 sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ and 7 sheets of 12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.
Here are the pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. Operation Write Home sketches are the only ones that already provide measurements. For all the other sketches, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. All of my cards are A2 size. Great video and what a cute paper collection! I like the cut-aparts and the extra embellishments you used. (I think your window box is upside down.) I prefer the zoomed out (original) view to see your cutting and all the papers–I always look at the photos you post to see any details I may have missed. Thank you, Jeanne! It was a fun paper collection to use. Great colors and a nice variety of different looks. I don't really have a preference on what brand of cardstock I use. I used to always buy it from a local craft store, but it closed last year. 🙁 So now, I have to buy it from the big box stores. For black, I always use the Recollections packaged packs from Michaels. Joann's seems to put their loose cardstock on sale more often than Michaels, so I have been buying it there lately. They carry Bazzill and Coredinations and either one is fine as long as the colors coordinate with the 6×6 paper pad. I'll admit I really like the pre-embossed paper from Bazzill. 🙂

Thanks for your input about the screen view. I really prefer the wider view, but I figured I'd try something different and see what the overall opinion is. And so far, it's pretty mixed. I figured people could always look at my blog for a closer look at the cards since I share more details here. Great cards as usual, Kristie! You have such a great eye for patterned paper usage. I love Doodlebug paper but have to order online now since my somewhat local store has closed.
I still fixed the card and updated the photo. But I can't change my error in the video. Oh well, I'm definitely not perfect. 🙂
I did see your comment on YouTube. 🙂 It's fun to select nail polish colors to match the paper collections. I recently recorded two videos back to back and had to change colors since it would have bothered me to not coordinate. Lol!

Thank you, Kristi! My local craft store closed last year as well. There's still the big box stores, but they never carry my preferred paper brands like Doodlebug, Echo Park, Carta Bella. So I order my 6×6 paper pads online.
