Hello friends! It was time for me to turn another 6×6 paper pad into a set of cards. I used the beautiful Potted collection by Catherine Pooler. I love the plant themed paper pad! Even with the little bit of pink, I think it works well for masculine or feminine cards. Since I will be donating most of the cards to a local charity, I focused on general sentiments. I did use thin foam dimension for some cards, but avoided any bulky bling. That way the charity won’t have to pay additional postage to mail the cards.

I used my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial and one paper pad to make 34 cards.

Here is the cardstock I pulled before starting on the 6×6 paper pad. I always pull out way more cardstock than I ever use. I list the brands and colors if I have the information. Some of my cardstock has been in my craft room for many, many years.

In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 8 sheets of  8 1/2″ x 11″ and 12 sheets of  12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.

Cardstock colors –
Passionate – Bazzill
Persimmon – Darice
Juicy Pear – Bazzill

Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. All my cards are American standard A2 size. For sketches that don’t include measurements, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Catherine Pooler’s Potted 6×6 paper pad.

  • A bright and cheerful set of cards, Kristie. I like color palette a lot. I’m sure they will be a hit! Thanks so much for sharing! Can’t go wrong with a 6×6!

  • Pretty paper–great colors and how convenient to have the matching ink colors provided?! My favorite cards are the ones with the multi-cactus images, MFT 582 with the die cut cacti and the giant Hello and the butterflies! Always fun to see a 6 x 6 disappear. TFS!
