Hello friends! I am always looking for pretty and fun paper pads to use in my 6×6 videos. I buy paper faster than I can use it. I know I’m not alone with this problem. 😁
When I saw the new Painted Butterflies collection from Catherine Pooler, I couldn’t resist. The colors are unique and the designs are lovely. Perfect for some pretty spring cards. I also picked up a few other items from the new Boho Trends release.
I used my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial and one paper pad to make 29 cards.
Here is the cardstock I pulled before starting on the 6×6 paper pad. I always pull out way more cardstock than I ever use. I list the brands and colors if I have the information. Some of my cardstock has been in my craft room for many, many years.
In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 13 sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ and 6 sheets of 12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.

Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. All my cards are American standard A2 size. For sketches that don’t include measurements, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. You did a great job with this collection! The colors are great and I do appreciate Catherine Pooler’s color coordinations. Someday I hope I can own the complete collection of her inks.
Your cards are beautiful. I especially like how you stamped the sentiment on the bottom of the butterfly wings.
And I have to say that it was really hard to put plants into macrame hangers. You managed much faster than I did when I was young. lol.
