Hello, and welcome to my stop on the Unity Stamp Company and Operation Write Home blog hop. If you just came from Kris’s blog, then you’re on the right track. If you would like to go to the beginning of the hop, you can find it HERE.
I’m so excited to be a part of this blog hop to help show the newest Unity patriotic stamp set. I don’t think one can ever go wrong with using some patriotic stamps on a card.
For my card, I decided to make an AnyHero card for our deployed service members. Inside, I included a personal note of gratitude to let our heroes know they haven’t been forgotten. Cards donated to Operation Write Home need to fit into an A2 size envelope. However, AnyHero cards can be different sizes. My card is slightly larger than an A2 size since the little banner hangs off the side of the card.
Here’s a close up showing the heat embossing of the flag stripes.
sketch – Reverse Confetti #20, paper – Authentique – Pride, stamps – Unity Stamp Company, circle die cuts – Spellbinders, ink – Close to My Heart, Colorbox, and VersaMark, embossing powder – Recollections, brads – from stash.
Now it’s time to hop over to Lisa’s blog for some more wonderful inspiration. Thank you Unity Stamp Company for your support of Operation Write Home and the men and women serving our country.
