Hello friends! It’s time for Video Eight in my Tulip Card Series.
I was recently sent 2 of Waffle Flowers version 2 Grip Mats. Perfect timing since I was planning on using some of their tulip themed products soon.
If you haven’t tried Waffle Flowers Grip Mats, I highly recommend them. I love them for stencils, but you can also use them for stamping and ink blending. The mat is made from high quality photopolymer and it’s naturally sticky. Perfect for gripping your cardstock and stencils. By using the Grip Mat, you don’t need to use any tacky tape to hold down your project. The mat is reusable and easy to clean. They offer a wide variety of different sizes. I have the 2 sizes that fit inside the regular and mini MISTIs. The new version is much stickier than the original. Plus the printed Guide that is included is now cut a bit smaller than the Grip Mat.
I made 3 tulip cards using the same dies, stencils, and ink colors. One card features white cardstock, the second card features kraft cardstock, and the final card features white shimmer cardstock. It’s fun how they all look just a bit different using the same supplies.
