The first Midweek Throwdown challenge of 2014 is to make a card using one of the top 13 MWT’s of 2013. My card actually would work for #1 Cards 4 Kids, and #4 Sentiment Free.

Now it’s time to do a little year in review and pick my favorite 13 cards from 2013.
I’ll start with my very first card posted on my blog; which I started in January of 2013. And, of course, it had to be pink.
I can’t believe 2013 is already over. It really flew by for me. But I can’t wait to see what 2014 brings. Happy New Year everyone!
Kristie, thank you for sharing your talents. I've learned so much from your cards and even CASE a few. It's so great to see artists choice for their own top 13, I love your's, but I know I could come up with at least 30 more of yours I like equally as well! Thanks for sharing
Kristie, your cards are wonderful! I especially like the way you combine patterned papers with black as an accent. I'm definitely going to try that in 2014.
What a fabulous selection of cards! Can't even come close to picking a favorite, but I know I love your palettes and love that each card has such a strong focal point in spite of all the other accents that add so much visual interest. TFS and all the best in 2014!
I don't know how you could pick 13. Your entire blog is my favorite 🙂
I wish you and your family a happy new year.
I really appreciate all your clean lines and you definitely a style that I love. Looking forward to what you create in 2014. TFS.
I love the red, white, and blue I Miss You card. I have had that one pinned since you originally posted it! Congratulations on your first year of blogging. I enjoy all of your posts.
Awesome group of cards! I love all of you cards but the last one really stands out to me; it is outside your normal style…and it is stunning! tfs and Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, Kristie! You are my 6×6 paper pad idol and one of my resolutions is to be as organized as you must be with your paper! These are gorgeous samples of your work, and I was going to say the same thing as Linda did; you final card is a delightful surprise! All the best to you in 2014!
you cards are so clean looking, very neat and pleasing to the eye.
Your cards are so much fun to look at. Thank you for sharing. April
I love looking at your creations- the last card posted- with the flying fairies– so sweet and gorgeous! Thanks for sharing your cards– Happy New Year!
You have such a great style Kristie! These are some great choices but as one who has visited your blog often I know narrowing it down to 13 was no small feat. 🙂 Here's to a a happy, healthy, and creative 2014!
i always love your cards. That telephone card with the spiral edge has to be my favorite… so reminiscent of an old time phone cord! 🙂
The fairy card with the sponged background — gorgeous! An outstanding collection of cards! Happy New Year!
The spiral trim on the telephone card is perfect! Love the diagonal background of your "God Bless the USA" card. My favorite is the bunny with his paper pieced umbrella and rain boots – so nice with the papers on the rest of the card.
Awesome cards ! I really like the fairies with the metallic background paper and Lil Hoot is too cute
Beautiful collection! I love how your cards with sentiments are a reflection of the design. Well done!
These cards are dynamic- all great choices! Your clean lines and use of paper is perfect- OWH is certainly blessed to have you creating for them!
I can't decide if the bunny with an umbrella is my favorite of this group or if it's the white and green one with those blue brads. Wonderful group of cards, Kristie. I'm so glad you started a blog!
