Hello friends! With Father’s Day coming up in just a couple weeks, I needed to get my cards made. Sometimes making masculine cards can be challenging, especially since the craft industry doesn’t provide us with very many pattern paper choices. Instead of buying something new, I decided to use up an older paper pad. The Woodland Walk by Tonic Studios is perfect for masculine cards. (This collection has retired.)

With limited time, I thought it would be fun to use one cover plate die for all of the cards.
(Well, almost all of the cards. I used a different design for the final few cards.)

I made a total of 39 cards using Tonic Studios Woodland Walk 6×6 paper pad. I will add a hand written message inside each card and take them to the residents at a nearby retirement home.

I generally keep my messages short, but always positive and uplifting. Hopefully my cards add a little bit of sunshine to someone’s day. ☀

I did end up with quite a few scraps, but they are pretty small. I’ve tossed them into my Scrap Box of the Year.

All of my cards are American standard A2 size.

  • Great cards, Kristie! And thanks for showing what you wrote inside. It really is helpful for me!!

  • Nicley done, Kristie! It would be nice if there were more options for masculine cards for sure!

  • That was fun! Probably the shortest 6 x 6 video you’ve ever made. lol. Those look great and perfect for the gentlemen at the retirement home. Thanks for including your message, too. I send cards to a nursing home and I sometimes need a little inspiration for the insides!
