Spirelli Technique

This week’s OWH tutorial is how to do spirelli, which is wrapping string or floss around a scalloped shape. I was already working on a few Mom cards and decided to add the spirelli to the small flower embellishment. I love how it turned out. I was making four of these cards, but ran out of black embroidery floss. I did have just enough to completely finish one card, and the others will have to wait until I get some more floss. I also got to play with my new Paper Smooches notecard die cut. I CASEd a card from Paper Smooches DT Laurie Scmidlin since I loved the sketch she used.
