Hello friends! Every month, Spellbinders releases so many fun products. It’s always hard to choose which collection I want to use. For June, I decided to do some wax melting and selected a few products from the Sealed 3D Botanical collection. There’s a gorgeous 3D Embossing folder with coordinating dies, plus a fun wax seal stamper with a sweet mushroom design. There’s just something about making wax seals that is very therapeutic to me. I could sit for hours and make them.
I mixed several wax bead colors and made 2 wax seals. To make the image really stand out, I colored them using a paint marker.
Spellbinders also released several new gem stickers color. I used 2 of them on my cards. You can check out all the colors HERE.
For both of my cards, I used patterned paper from Craft Consortium. I love having beautiful designs that look like I did all the work. Lol!
For my first card, I ink blended a piece of Spellbinders BetterPress Cotton cardstock with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide ink. This is really nice cardstock and works great with 3D embossing folders. I added some gold and white splatter to the embossed image.
It’s best to die cut the piece before embossing it. Otherwise, you will flatten the embossing.
