Hello friends! Spellbinders March 2022 Club kits are now available. This month I decided to start with the Large Die of the Month. It’s called Kaleidoscope Floral Slimline. The details on the die are just gorgeous. You can get super fancy with it or simply use just the single flowers for a simpler card.

I made a total of 5 cards using Spellbinders March 2022 Large Die of the Month. (Not sure why I only photographed 4 cards.)

For my first card, I used pretty greens and white. Even with a very intricate die, you can still make a fairly simple card.

Sentiment stamp – Spellbinders
All dies – Spellbinders
Holographic cardstock – Tonic Studios
Pearlescent cardstock – Amazon
Bling – Spellbinders
Ink – Catherine Pooler

My second card is my favorite. It also took me the longest to make. I used some pattern paper from Paper Rose and inlaid all the teeny tiny leaf and flower pieces.

All dies – Spellbinders
Pattern paper – Paper Rose
Sentiment stamp – Spellbinders
Ink – Honey Bee Stamps
Bling – Spellbinders
Gold paint – Kuretake
Pearlescent cardstock – Amazon

My final card is very simple, focusing on the pretty kaleidoscope flowers.

All dies – Spellbinders
Sentiment stamp – Spellbinders
Pattern paper – Paper Rose
Peel Offs – Love From Lizi
Bling – Spellbinders
Ink – Honey Bee Stamps
Pearlescent cardstock – Amazon

  • It looks like this is a versatile die set. Very fun. I really like the elegant look of the green Thinking of You card. The bold colors in the other cards are so striking, too. It’s amazing to see how color definitely changes the feel of the card. Thanks so much for sharing. Crafty hugs!

  • WOW! Stunning cards! I love how you made a monochromatic version and were also able to make something totally different with bright colors. I can see how the inlay card would have taken forever–it’s beautiful. You should display it in your room! I wonder if they just have the flower for sale–your hello card was very pretty!

    • Thanks so much! The Large dies of the Month are amazing! Goodness, they can be fiddly though. I LOVE how my cards turned out, even if the one card took me hours. I’m not ready to give that card up yet, so it is on display in my room. Lol!
