Hello friends! The February 2D and 3D Embossing Folders of the Month by Spellbinders are just gorgeous. Both are lovely floral designs. I knew they would make the perfect backgrounds to pair with some dies from their new Four Petal collection.
The 2D Embossing Folder is called Hydrangea Blooms and the 3D Embossing Folder is called Spring Burst.
For my first card, I first embossing some white cardstock using the 3D embossing folder. Then I ink blended the background using Catherine Pooler’s Skylight and Seafoam ink colors. For a bit of sparkle, I added a pretty shimmery splatter. All of the dies are from the new Four Petal collection. I love the pretty blooms and it’s always nice having a new label style to feature images. The sentiment set is called Thanks Enclosed Sentiments and has tons of words so you can create a variety of sentiments.

My second card features the 2D embossing folder and more of the pretty Four Petal dies. I thought some fun bright colors would be perfect. Especially with the gloomy rainy weather outside here in Western Washington.

Oh wow, Kristie! These are just so lovely. I like the elegant look of the first one and the bright and happy feel of the second card. Both showcase the embossing folders wonderfully. Hope you dry out soon! Crafty hugs!
