Simple Stories – Cozy Days – 38 cards from one 6×8 paper pad
Hello friends! Yay for autumn card making season! It’s my favorite time of year. As soon as I saw Simple Stories Cozy Days collection, I knew I HAD to have it. I don’t think the designs are all fall looking, so it could be used all year round. I did purchase both ephemera packs, but I used more of the Bits & Pieces than the Journal Bits.
Because it takes many hours to turn a paper pad into cards, this video has been sped up 6 times. The real time recording was around 5 1/2 hours, not including any of my planning, prep, or die cutting time. Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.
Here is the cardstock I first pulled before starting on the cards. I always pull out way more cardstock than I ever use. I list the brands and colors if I have the information. Some of my cardstock has been in my craft room for many, many years.
In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 4 sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ and 14 sheets of 12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.
Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. For sketches that don’t include measurements, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Simple Stories Cozy Days 6×8 paper pad.

Lovely papers, Kristie. I can see why you had to have it. Plenty of pink, too. I can see where these would work year round, too. I noticed fun new sketches in the mix. Lots to keep this process fresh and fun for you! Thanks so much for sharing. You always amaze me with how many cards you get made in such a short amount of time. And I know how much work it is to get from cards made to videos published. WOW! 🙂
Wow–38 cards! Great colors in the pad and you chose perfect matting colors, too. My favorite cards were the pink and gray MjM 539s but I loved them all! TFS. Great inspiration–I’m heading into the office to make some fall cards right now.

Thanks, Jeanne! I love this collection. Fall papers are always my favorite, especially with some pink in it. Lol!
Another fabulous collection of cards!
Thank you, Julee! 🙂
