I am guest designing for Scrapping for Less using the September Flavor of the Month Card Kit. The theme is Happy Fall Y’all. There are 4 different mini collections. Each contains 6 papers, a stamp set, and a variety of embellishments and stickers. I love how well everything coordinates together. The stamps can easily be used with any of the mini collections.

I post a lot of 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorials and many people feel quite overwhelmed with the idea of using an entire 6×6 paper pad for card making. Trying out a monthly kit, could definitely make things easier. You could start by using just one of the mini collections since it only has 6 sheets of paper. And it’s perfect since the stamps and embellishments have already been coordinated for you. Leaving you with more time to simply create.

I made a total of 10 cards using the September kit. I still have plenty of leftovers to make many more cards. Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.

Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. For all sketches, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. All of my cards are A2 size. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using the Scrapping for Less September Flavor of the Month card kit.

  • Congratulations on your guest spot, Kristie! Fall is a wonderful time of year. I love the colors, football, watching my girls marching, and generally the cooler weather. Soups and comfort foods as well as snuggling up are highlights. Your set of cards look delightful and I am excited to watch the video of them coming to life. Thanks so much for sharing your talents!

  • Always love your videos and admire all of your cards. They're all so cute but I do love coffee so my favorite is the one with the coffee cup and mug paper, I love the colors and can't wait for it to cool down in CA! Have a wonderful day!

  • As always, I was thrilled to see your new video. I am eagerly awaiting the Fall cooler temps (I live in Florida) – I've had enough hot for a loooong time. I love the section of bee cards! Thanks for sharing.

  • Thanks for your video! I like your style and really feel like I can use up these supplies when I watch you!

  • This is so awesome. Do you have a video on how you figure out the accurate sizes? if not… can you do one? PLEASE… another awesome 10 cards.

  • I love the 10 Cards from 1 kit series! It really makes things seem a little less daunting (but I still love watching you disappear an entire 6 x 6 pad!) I really like the bee cards and the CAS card with the little red-headed girl and the feather charms. You have really opened my eyes to so many techniques and products. Thank you!

  • Kristie usually has a link to her video explaining how she figures out sketch measurements in the the newer blog posts for her 6 x 6 paper pad tutorials. It's really helpful!

  • Great use of the kit. It's a winner. There are at least 7 cards that are tied for my "favorite" distinction, with the others running close behind. I am always so impressed with your artistry in putting together patterns, colors and layers. Wonderful, as always.

  • Thank you, Jeanne! It was an honor to get the opportunity to guest design for Scrapping for Less again. And yay for it being a fall themed kit. I love making fall cards! I hope you have a wonderful day!

  • Thank you! I appreciate your kindness and support. This was a fun card kit. I hope it cools down soon for you. Autumn is definitely here in Western Washington. 🙂

  • Thank you, Beth! I hope cooler temps are coming soon for you. I don't care for hot weather at all. I start complaining when it hits 80. Lol!

  • Thank you, LeeAnn! I actually do have a video showing how I figure out sketch measurements. It's one of the first videos I ever made and I may do a new one soon. I updated the blog post with the link. 🙂

  • Thank you, Jennifer! It's fun using the monthly kits and doing something a bit different. But don't worry, I'm still making my 6×6 paper pad videos. I just finished recording a new Christmas video today. 🙂

  • Thank you, Lucy! I've always loved making fall cards and this kit has a nice variety of paper collections. 🙂
