It’s All About Ice Cream this month here at Scrapping for Less for the March Flavor of the Month kit. Can you believe it has been one year since we began this card kit adventure? It has been a wild ride, but a very exciting ride!! We have grown with our subscriptions this past year by 8000%… and yes that is 8K percent growth! Baffles my mind! We are excited about this growth opportunity and even more excited with the new additions to our team… Keep looking to Scrapping for Less for some great inspiration in the future! Now onto these fabulous ladies, and our wonderful guest designers for what they have created for you with this super ice cream it this month!

I was recently approached by Teresa Russell, the owner of Scrapping for Less, and asked to be a guest designer for the March Flavor of the Month Card Kit. The theme is All About Ice Cream. This is the first time I have ever used a monthly kit and I had so much fun. There are 4 different mini collections. Each contains 6 papers, a stamp set, and a variety of embellishments and stickers. I love how well everything coordinates together. The stamps and embellishments can easily be used with any of the mini collections.

I post a lot of 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorials and many people feel quite overwhelmed with the idea of using an entire 6×6 paper pad for card making. Trying out a monthly kit, could definitely make things easier. You could start by using just one of the mini collections since it only has 6 sheets of paper. And it’s perfect since the stamps and embellishments have already been coordinated for you. Leaving you with more time to simply create.

I made a total of 10 cards using the All About Ice Cream kit. I still have plenty of leftovers to make many more cards. Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.

Be sure to check out the Scrapping for Less Blog Hop for more inspiration on using this fun monthly kit. Lucille Manos is the next stop on the hop.
