Hello friends! I’m shifting from holiday and seasonal cards today and sharing a couple birthday cards. We always need birthday cards throughout the year. I used Scrapbook.com’s new die set Present Shaker. It’s perfect for making a cute shaker, but can also be used to create a fun non-shaker card.
The present image works great for birthday, Christmas, graduation, anniversary, baby cards and more. I love how easy it is to customize!
The patterned paper I used for both cards is Scrapbook.com’s Ombre collection. It’s one of my favorites! The paper has the look of being ink blended, but instead I “cheated” and used patterned paper.
For my first card, I made a non-shaker. I decorated the present and background of the card with the Birthday Party rub-on transfer set. Even the sentiment is a rub-on! So fun and super easy!
For a bit of shine, I added gold polka dot rub-ons on the present. I also added a bit of gold mirror paper behind the small piece on the bow.
The 3 small gift images are individual rub-ons that I layered at the bottom of the card.
I make a second card using the Present Shaker die set. This time I couldn’t resist making a shaker card.
The die set includes a slightly smaller square so you can cut out the shaker window. I filled the shaker with pink and white shaker pops from Trinity Stamps.
On the background, I added pretty silver polka dot rub-ons. I had a bunch of leftover scrap pieces and was able to add the polka dots just in the areas around the present.
The purple cardstock I used for the large bow is from Scrapbook.com’s Purple Smooth cardstock paper pad.
For a little extra detail on the bow, I added a pretty pink jewel.

I love them both but really like the shaker version!! Great rub ons, too! TFS!!
Both cards are great, but I, too, really like the shaker card. I also like that you were able to use the rub-ons around the present! Thank you for sharing, Kristie!
