Hello friends! I’m taking a quick break from holiday and seasonal cards. Don’t worry, I will be sharing more Christmas cards very soon.
I really wanted to try Scrapbook.com’s new Patchwork A2 die. It cuts out 20 small patchwork pieces that interlock together like a puzzle. I chose 3 patterned papers from the Joyful collection and made 3 similar cards. I did change the backgrounds of each card, trying different effects.
I do have a process video for this card, but it’s up on Scrapbook.com’s channel.

The sentiment dies are from Scrapbook.com’s Joyful Wishes set and the foliage images are from their Cozy Foliage die set.
For my first card, I added a Vintage Script Metallic silver rub-on transfer to the background, along with a bit of black splatter. I used the Black Lustre Brush Marker for the fun splatter.

For my second card, I inked the edges of the patchwork background with Distress Oxide Scorched Timber ink. I also added a bit of splatter using the Scorched Timber ink.

For my last card, I sprayed the background with Distress Spritz. I used the Rusty Hinge color. It adds a lovely shimmery look.
