Hello friends! I am so excited to participate in this year’s Save the Crafty YouTuber Video Hop. If you aren’t familiar with the hop, this is a celebration of talented crafters with so many different styles and tutorials. It’s a great opportunity to discover new card makers and to help the smaller channels reach monetization goals.
*Be sure to leave a comment by April 5th on my video because there are prizes on every video to give away in this video hop. (Comments on my blog will not count.)
For those not familiar with my channel or card making style, one of my favorite ways to make cards is using 6×6 paper pads and card sketches. I like to use up a paper pad completely before moving onto a new one. You can check out my 6×6 paper pad tutorial HERE.
For my cards, I used some leftover paper scraps from Pink & Main’s Summer Splash collection. This was featured in one of their monthly kits last year and that’s why I still a little bit leftover. I chose a card sketch that allowed me to use several 2″ strips of paper on one card. The sketch was designed as a square card, but I figured out the measurements for an A2 size card instead.

Always excited when another one of your videos comes out. It's the highlight of my day! I have a question. Do you have a resource for A2 envelopes? Thanks so much.
So fun! Great use of the papers. This is a fun sketch for a great cause. Well done!
I used this sketch to make 3 cards from leftover paper scraps! Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you! You and your family stay safe and healthy as well! 🙂
Thank you! I'm hiding as well, just in Western Washington. I'm making cards for retirement/nursing home residents. Thank you for helping out our health care workers. Stay safe!
Thank you so much! I purchase envelopes by the case from Heinrich online. SKU: 1A2ARWHT Shipping will seem high, but the price per envelope is usually only about 4 cents.
Thank you so much! It was fun getting the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful hop. 🙂
Awesome! I love finding the perfect sketches to finish off those paper scraps. 🙂
