Hello friends! Queen & Company recently released 2 new Shaped Shaker kits. Space and Princess. Both are so cute. It was hard deciding which kit to use first. But I decided to start with the space kit. The Shaped Shaker kits do not include paper pads or shaker toppings. Queen & Company sells a large variety of both on their website. That way you can customize the kit with the colors and designs you want. I used several different paper collections for my cards and even made one card without any pattern paper.

I used the Space Shaped Shaker kit to make 6 cards.

Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.

Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. Operation Write Home and some Mojo Monday sketches are the only ones that already provide measurements. For all the other sketches, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. All of my cards are A2 size. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements.

  • What a treat to see you sharing cards from this new kit already. You are one busy mama! Thank you so much for your time and dedication. I adore the first card. The colors and design are so fabulous. Well, each of the cards is terrific. I also really like how you used the brushos on the one card for the galaxy. Can't wait to see them come to life in the video. Thanks for all you do, Kristie!

  • Wow–we didn't have to wait long for the video (thank you!) but this set is so cute, I can imagine you wanted to get started with it right away. I LOVE the colors of the first card–and that rocket is so cute, both as a shaker and flat! I like how you used the Brusho for the space galaxy–I really want to try some soon! And the planet is super fun, too. Love the papers you chose for all of these, too. Great job!

  • Thank you, Jeanne! I was excited to get started on this kit right away. It is so fun and Queen & Co always has the best sentiments in their kits. The Brusho was just perfect to make a galaxy background. 🙂

  • I was too excited and had to start right away with this fun shaker kit. I just love Queen & Company products! 🙂
