Hello friends! Since it’s still July, I thought I’d do a second Christmas in July video. I used an older kit from Queen & Company called Merry & Bright Ornament. This kit was previously called Holiday Wishes, but they are basically the same kit. Some of the contents are slightly different, like toppings and quantity of foam/acetate pieces. But the stamp set, paper pad and dies are all the same.

You can also purchase refills of the paper pad and foam/acetate pieces.

I always enjoy the sentiment stamp sets included in Queen & Company kits. The sayings are perfect with fun fonts. If you are like me and don’t color images very often, Queen & Company kits are a great choice.

I used my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial to make 25 cards.

Because it takes many hours to use up a 6×6 paper pad, this video has been sped up 7 times. The real time recording was just over 6 1/2 hours, not including any of my planning, prep, or die cutting time. Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.

In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 5 sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ and 13 sheets of  12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.

Cardstock colors –

Kraft – unknown

Orange – unknown

Ballet – Bazzill

Berry Sensation – Bazzill

Atlantis – Bazzill

Caramel apple – Bazzill

Wax lips – Bazzill

Polar Ice – Darice

Pearlescent white – purchased on Amazon

Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. Operation Write Home and some Mojo Monday sketches are the only ones that already provide measurements. For all the other sketches, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. All of my cards are A2 size. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Queen & Co. Merry & Bright Ornament kit.

  • Oh YAY!!! 🙂 I know what my next set of cards will be. Thank you so much for sharing these cards, Kristie. They are fun and festive and look fabulous. I appreciate all that you do and share. Have a great day.

  • Thank you for more fun Christmas in July! Love the paper designs and the slightly unusual Christmas colors. Q&Co. has the best fonts and sentiments! TFS and have a lovely family vacation. I am impressed that you have put out so many videos this summer already. You must be ready for a break!

  • I have just found your videos. Love them! I wish I could reload my ATG at 7 x speed! Do you ever list the stamps you use?

  • Thanks Jeanne! This is such a fun kit, I'm sure you will enjoy using it as well. I can't wait to see what the new Queen & Co Christmas kit will be this year. 🙂

  • Thanks, Jennifer! I couldn't resist doing one more Christmas video this month. Especially since I really wanted to use this kit. I know Queen & Co will have a new Christmas kit this year that I will HAVE to have. Lol!
I am very ready for a break. My whole family is. 🙂 I hope you are having a lovely summer.

  • Thank you and welcome! I wish I could actually load my ATG that quickly. Lol! Of course, I could probably do it in my sleep since I've changed it so much.
I will link to any stamp sets I have affiliate links.(Unless they are retired.) All of the sentiments in this set of cards were with the stamp set included in the kit. Queen & Company makes some of the best sentiment sets, in my opinion.

  • As usual your cards are amazing. You make me want to pull out my kit and create lol. I have a question, do you happen to know the brand or have a link to the pearlescent white cardstock you found on Amazon. It's such a pretty cardstock and I would love to get some if possible. Thanks for sharing!

  • Thank you, I appreciate your kindness. I think you should pull out your kit ans get crafting. Lol! I really enjoyed this kit.
I'm not sure what the actual brand is of the pearlescent paper. It comes in a ream of 100 sheets and I love that it's a heavier weight and pearlescent on both sides. Here is the link. amazon.com/gp/product/B0071CH9YU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
