Hello friends! My kiddos have only 1 more day of school left for the year, so I figured I’d squeeze out another video. With the holidays, I will be taking a short break from videos. (Except for any design team commitments.)

For this set of cards, I used Queen & Company’s Gumball Shaker kit. This is an older kit, but I only recently picked it up at their Queen for a Day event. The kit does not include a paper pad. Queen & Company sells their 6×6’s individually, so I bought the Candy Land collection since it coordinates perfectly.

I donate cards regularly to a local retirement home. I think most of the cards will be perfect for Valentine’s Day cards, especially with all the sweet sentiments. It’s always nice to get a head start on holiday cards.

I used my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial to make 27 cards.

Because it takes many hours to use up a 6×6 paper pad, this video has been sped up 7 times. The real time recording was just over 5 hours, not including any of my planning, prep, or die cutting time. Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.

In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 2 sheets of  8 1/2″ x 11″ and 12 sheets of  12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.

Cardstock colors –

Velvet – Bazzill

Navajo – Bazzill

Primary Yellow – Coredinations

Easter Grass – Bazzill

Berry Sensation – Bazzill

Plum Pudding – Bazzill

Boysenberry Delight – Bazzill

Black – Recollections

Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. Operation Write Home and some Mojo Monday sketches are the only ones that already provide measurements. For all the other sketches, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. All of my cards are A2 size. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Queen & Co. Gumball Shaker kit and Candy Land 6×6 paper pad.

  • Love those cute shaker cards–what a great paper pad to coordinate with the gumball shaker! It is also fun without the shaker, Thanks for another great video!

  • Thank you, Julee! I appreciate you sharing your card sketch designs with paper crafters. I look forward to the next one. Merry Christmas!

  • Thank you, Jennifer! The gumball shaker kit is super cute. I love that you can easily use the dies for non shaker cards. 🙂
