Hello friends! I know it’s not even Christmas yet, but it’s time to work on Valentine’s Day cards for next year. I try my best to stay ahead on donation cards. At this point, I have almost enough for 2025. But I’d like to have almost or even all of my 2026 valentine cards made soon. That’s my goal for 2025. Get a whole year ahead on retirement home cards. I don’t bring the residents New Year’s Day cards, so the next holiday is Valentine’s Day.
I used Pretty Pink Posh’s Stitched Hearts die set and cut out a bunch in pink and red. I added the hearts to their Easter Basket. It’s not just for Easter cards!
For the background of my card, I used the Pierced Hearts cover plate and splattered a bit of gold watercolor.
The sentiment is from the Sentiment Strip: Valentine stamp set and I cut out using the Sentiment Strip die set.
For a little extra detail and shine, I added a lovely Bow to the front of the basket. The lovely iridescent cardstock for the bow is from my stash. It was probably a leftover scrap from a Love From Lizi card kit or monthly add on. Always save those pretty scraps!
I also lined the basket with some lovely gold glitter paper from Scrapbook.com.
