I made a new card to kick off the new design team term. I used a couple newer products along with a few older favorites.
The Stitched Butterflies die set is one of my favorites released earlier this year. Naturally, I had to make a couple pink butterflies.
I used patterned paper from Craft Consortium for the chevron border die cuts, but everything else features cardstock.
The Stacked Edges die sets were some of my first Pretty Pink Posh purchases. I love that they are still available. Obviously I’m not the only person that loves them. It’s been several months since I used them, so it was time to pull them out again.
I used some iridescent vellum for the background layers of the butterflies, so their wings are super shimmery. On the background of the card and the front wings of the butterflies, I added a lovely gold watercolor splatter.
I popped up the tag, butterflies, and sentiment using foam dimension. I felt this card needed lots of layers.
