Hello friends! I hope everyone is staying cool this summer. It has been very warm here in Western Washington. May even hit triple digits this week, and that’s not super common here. Making Christmas cards helps us stay cool, right? Well, maybe not, but I still have a cute Christmas card to share today.
I used Pretty Pink Posh’s Tree Cover Plate die and cut out a bunch of pink and green trees. I added them to a black background that I cut using their Stitched Torn Rectangles die set. For more detail on the background, I used the Starry Background stencil and also added a white splatter watercolor. So fun!
I love the look of the trees against the dark black background. Sometimes it’s fun using non-traditional colors for Christmas cards.
The sentiment dies are Pretty Pink Posh’s Merry Christmas Shadows. I think the sentiment is even more festive with two Merrys.
The colored cardstock is part of Scrapbook.com’s Sprinkles Smooth cardstock paper pad. The colors all work so nicely together.

The heat from the west coast is moving our way, unfortunately. We’ll be in the triple digits by the weekend and could break records for the heat the forecasters say. Ugh, I say!
