Hello friends! Fall has definitely hit western Washington. It brought cooler temps and lots of rain. I don’t mind though. I especially enjoy the cooler temperatures. When the seasons change, I like to bring some general seasonal cards to the residents at a nearby retirement home. Fall cards are some of my favorites to make, so I was surprised to find out I’m short 45 cards. I need 90 cards so every resident will receive happy mail.
I’m planning on starting a fall 6×6 video soon. But first, I decided to play with some Pretty Pink Posh fall goodies. I used their new Layered Woodland stencil set to create the pretty fall background. With the stencils out, I just kept going until I had 10 cards. Now I only need another 35 fall cards and I know I can knock those out with a 6×6 paper pad.
I used mostly traditional fall ink colors for the background of my cards. This would be a fun stencil with non-traditional colors as well.
Overall, I kept the design very simple and focused on the lovely stencil design and pretty leaf die cuts. I’m still in love with Pretty Pink Posh’s Stitched Torn Rectangles die set. It adds a fun detail to a project.

So very pretty! Your backgrounds of stencils, inks and kraft card stock are always amazing! Great card layout, too, with the beautiful stitched leaves with extra shading. I am sure the recipients will be so happy to get these! TFS! Happy fall!
