Hello friends! I’m taking a little break from holiday cards and pulled out a couple fun die sets from Pretty Pink Posh. My card features their Stitched Birds, Decorative Birdhouses, and Spring Foliage die sets. I did use patterned paper for the background, but added extra detail with some pretty watercolor splatter.
I went with a different color combination for what I would usually choose and I really like how it turned out. I love how the cheerful yellow birds really pop against the darker purple background. And since I didn’t want to introduce any other colors, I used vellum for the foliage and leaves.

I used a general sentiment from Pretty Pink Posh’s Simple Sentiments stamp set. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder on black cardstock.
For embellishments, I added some pretty Plum pearls. I love the pretty purple color on the dark purple background.
