The final challenge for the VCMP was to make a glitz card without using glitter. Since most of the cards I make go to OWH, I rarely ever use glitter anyway.

sketch – https://kristiemarcotte.com//2012/07/welcome-to-challenge-8.html

paper – Authentique – Renew

stamp – Verve

die cuts – Spellbinders

faux stitching die cuts – Lil’ Inker Designs

border punch – Martha Stewart

ribbon – Offray

bling – from stash

Pearl pen – Viva Decor

Versafine ink

card base – Int. Paper Accent Opaque Digital 100#

And apparently I can’t read directions very well. I went back to challenge #3, which was a selective embossing challenge, and tried it again. This time following the directions, and it turned out just fine.

paper – Int. Paper Accent Opaque Digital 100#

embossing folder – The Paper Studio

stamp – Verve

ribbon – May Arts

Versafine ink

  • Love the layout for this card. Is is based on a sketch? Wonderful sentiment too. Thanks for joining the VCMP 'Glitz and Glam' challenge.

  • The first card is from a sketch by Your Next Stamp. I included the link under the card. The second card isn't from a sketch, just a clean and simple design. Thank you!
