Hello friends! I decided to take a short break from holiday and seasonal cards to use Pink & Main’s Sunrise 6×6 paper pad. A couple months ago, I used their Sunset collection which is very similar except in blues, greens and purples. You can see that video HERE.

It was actually the Sunrise collection I first fell in love with since the colors are so beautiful. Especially all the pinks!

I used my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial and one paper pad to make 33 cards.

Because it takes many hours to use up a 6×6 paper pad, this video has been sped up 7 times. The real time recording was around 4 1/2 hours, not including any of my planning, prep, or die cutting time. Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.

In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 2 sheets of  8 1/2″ x 11″ and 17 sheets of  12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.

Cardstock colors –

Love Potion – Darice

Cherry Tomato – Darice

Cherry Tomate – Coredinations

Banana – AC Cardstock

Orange – unknown

White Pearlescent paper – unknown

Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. All of my cards are A2 size. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Pink & Main’s Sunrise 6×6 paper pad.

  • Oh yay! What a happy surprise! Love these cards. The colors look wonderful. Lots of pretty pinks! It's fun to see that quilt die in action and I am really looking forward to watching this video. Awesome work, my friend! 🙂

  • Just watched your newest 6×6 and loved every card. I loved watching you select your papers and what looks like it shouldn't go, goes beautifully.

  • Thank you! I didn't tell anyone I was working on this paper collection. I was just needing to use some pink on a card. Lol! I hope you enjoy the video. 🙂

  • Thank you! I really enjoyed using this lovely paper collection. Sometimes I even doubt the paper combinations at first. But it generally seems to go together nicely in the end. 🙂

  • What a pleasant surprise to find this video! I absolutely LOVE this paper pad! I really like the butterfly stamp but I also like the sweet turtles and how you colored them, and all the art supplies. That quilt die is quite nice as well. That pink ink looks so smooth and creamy. P & M items are definitely on my X-mas wish mist! What a great group of cards–a perfect pick-me up on a rainy day. Thank you very much!!

  • Great collection of cards Kristie. The colour combinations are definitely out of my comfort zone, but they do work.
I love the P & M Turtley Amazing stamp and die set, the images are so sweet.
I waffle between the MFT 323 and the Mojo Monday 361 sketches as my favorites, but regardless the recipients will be happy with such cheerful cards.
    Have a good week.

  • Thank you, Jennifer! This paper pad has been on my To-Do List ever since it was released. But I decided to work on some holiday paper pads first. And starting on Love From Lizi's DT has been keeping me busy as well. (Good busy though) Pink & Main's surface ink has a nice smooth look to it. They were so kind to send me several of them to try. 🙂

  • Thank you, NannaT! I really appreciate your kindness. This was such a fun paper collection to use. I love Pink & Main's 6×6 paper pads. And the turtle stamp set is my favorite. 🙂

  • I never seem to see the product name for the thin dimensional adhesive squares used. Trying to find some. Unlucky so far. Can anyone point me in the right direction? TIA

  • Hello! The brand I used to use was discontinued. I am now using the Thin 3D Foam Squares by 3L Scrapbook Adhesives. They have 2 different thicknesses. I like the 1mm style. I purchase them from Scrapbookpal online. Here is the link. shrsl.com/1bady
