Hello friends! I am guest designing for Pink & Main using their August 2019 Crafty Courtyard subscription box. The kit theme is Fruit Salad. It includes a fun 6×6 paper pad, stamp set, dies, twine, sequins, and more. As with most monthly kits, there are a limited number available.

Pink & Main does require a 3 month subscription commitment. But they offer other discounts to subscribers and the kits really do include a lot of fun crafty goodies.

Go HERE to see everything that’s included in the kit.

I made 16 cards using the August subscription box by Pink & Main.

Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.

Most products used are from the August Pink & Main Subscription Box. I did include some additional card stock, ink, dies, and a few other items from my craft stash.

Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. Operation Write Home and the newer Mojo Monday sketches are the only ones that already provide measurements. For all the other sketches, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. All of my cards are A2 size. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using the August Subscription Box by Pink & Main.

  • I subscribe to this box and always look forward to your cards for great ideas and inspiration. Thanks so much.

  • Another terrific job is in the books for you! Such a fun and fruity set. Really like the bright and cheerful colors.

  • So much fun! What a cheerful, summery set of cards. I am usually not a fan of layering stamps (I don't know why) but I LOVE these. Such bold and bright colors! Favorites this time: Sweet Sunday 264 (#2), MjM 503, and the last one with the strawberry! Thank you for the blast of sunshine!

  • Thanks, Jennifer! I love layering stamps, but I don't use them very often. This set was very easy to line up the images. And it spared my eyes from coloring this month. 🙂

  • oh my gosh…how awesome this collection of cards is. how do you mail your cards with those bigger gems? or even your shaker cards? 🙂

  • Thank you! This is a really fun card kit.
I usually hand deliver my cards with thick bling or shakers. It's easy since I give so many cards to the residents at local retirement homes. Otherwise, I'll add the thick cards inside packages for friends or family.

  • Kristie, I have a suggestion! I would love for you to work with your DT companies to produce a kit – a 6×6 pad, enough card stock and embellishments, and a sentiment stamp set – and then offer a class video where you go through each card and let us work along with you, offering suggestions as you go. Not necessarily a shaker card or fancy die cut class, but just a basics class – like the Pink and Main Be Brave video I'm watching right now from Nov, 2017. Maybe more classes / kits with shakers or fancy die options later… I would definitely pay for a kit / class with you!

  • Tricia, what a great suggestion. Not sure how this would really come together. I'm still looking into offering my own classes and am a bit overwhelmed by it. I think a lot of people would also be interested in this style class. 🙂

  • I love your videos and card ideas. Thank you for taking the time to do this for all those interested. I do have a coment about your new blog format. I like to be able to see the full card picture when I am looking at it. Currently I have to scroll up or down to see the whole card because the picture is too big for my screen. Is there something I am not aware that I can change to fix that?
    Thanks
    Bonnie

    • Thank you so much Bonnie! I know with the new website, the card pictures are on the larger size. Generally you can change your computer screen settings with Ctrl -/+. Then you should be able to view the entire card. I can see it on my mobile devices as well as my computer screen. Hopefully that will help. 🙂
