Even though I didn’t need anymore Christmas cards, I really wanted to use all the Christmas 6×6 paper pads I purchased this year. That way, I won’t feel guilty about buying all the new releases in 2018.

I used a favorite cover up die from My Favorite Things for most of the cards. (Unfortunately, MFT retired the die earlier this year so it is no longer available.) I then added a stamped sentiment and image. I don’t do a lot of coloring, but the sweet snowman from Reverse Confetti was super easy to color, along with a few narwhals from Lawn Fawn.

Using the Jolly collection from Pink & Main, I ended up with a total of 56 cards. I will include a handwritten Christmas message inside any extra cards and bring them to a couple local nursing/retirement homes.

  • Wonderul work, Kristie! You are so kind and generous. The papers you chose are so festive. You are introducing me to companies I haven't necessarily noticed before. Thank you. You are also givng me great ideas to use up my own 6×6 pads that have been languishing in my stash. I like the variations on the card design that you did with the different elements. Terrific work! 🙂

  • Thank you, Jeanne! Several months ago, one of my subscribers mentioned Pink and Main paper pads. I had never heard of them before. And I love that their papers are made in the USA. 🙂

  • Thank you! December is a super busy month for me and my family. But I am really hoping to start recording a new video next week. Thank you for your kindness and support.

  • Thank you, Patti! I appreciate your kindness. I used a MFT cover up die for most of the cards. That's why I didn't include measurements. The diagonal strip is 1 inch wide. Hope that helps. 🙂

  • I think I figured out mesurements which will work if people don't have the cover up die….using the first card as my inspiration
    A2 base; red layer 4 1/8 x 5 3/8; white layer 4 x 5 1/4; DSP layer 2 1/4 x 4 5/8 split as shown on card then separated to equal 3 1/8 x 4 5/8 leaving room for the sentiment…was a fun challenge for me

  • Haven’t been able to locate the stitched frame die on MFT that has the diagonal line in the center. Do you have more of a description? Thank you! Love ALL of your cards and the inspiration you give me!!
