A friend asked if I would make some Christmas cards for her. She was planning on mailing them out this year, so I kept the cards nice and flat. I used a Photoplay paper collection from last year and a sketch from Operation Write Home. I liked the ability to include several paper designs on each card without adding any extra bulk. I made 25 similar cards.
Sketch – Operation Write Home #6
Paper – Photo Play – Luke 2 collection
Stamp – Reverse Confetti
Stitched square die – Lil Inker Designs
Star die – Lawn Fawn
Banner die – American Crafts
Ink – Reverse Confetti
Thanks for visiting my blog today!
Where do you get the religious paper packs? I was in Hobby Lobby today and didn’t see any. Of course that’s the first place I looked. Is there an online source for them?
This set is lovely!
Thank you! I bought this paper pad last year online from A Cherry on Top. I order most of my 6×6's online since my local craft stores rarely carry the brands I like. Scrapbook (dot) com is another online site that carries a good variety of paper pads.
Beautiful. How kind and generous of you to create these cards for your friend to mail out. I like the size of the squares to show off more of the papers. Great sketch, excellent cards!
Thank you, Jeanne! I love making cards and felt honored my friend asked me to make her some cards. The sketch is a great one. I'm not sure how I overlooked it for so long.
