Hello friends and Happy Summer to you! With July coming up soon, I needed to get my Independence Day cards made. I had about 10 already, but will need around 45 for the retirement home residents. I have a local friend that already made the other 45 cards. (She’s amazing!)
I purchased a bunch of 12×12 sheets from Photoplay Land That I Love collection. I like using the larger paper size when I need a bunch of cards. Sometimes the patterns are too large for cards, but not with this collection.
I ended up making a total of 52 cards. I set aside 6 to be used for Veteran’s Day cards later this year.
All of the sentiments I used are from Jaded Blossom’s God Bless America stamp set. It has so many great patriotic sentiments.

Very nice cards–perfect designs to showcase the papers and sentiments. The stars are a nice touch, too. The residents will be very pleased with their happy mail. I noticed one of your packages of bling was from a Ben Franklin store! Congrats on using up some older items. It is a good feeling to clean out your stash. These cards looks terrific for sharing our nation’s birthday, Kristie. Photoplay has some really great papers. You picked some winners for sure. I just got to thinking does your friend ever share the cards she makes on social media? It might be nice to thank her for all her hard work as well. Beautiful cards. Although I never seem to make summer or patriotic cards, I do like the color palette. You mentioned in the video that you are looking for more patriotic-themed paper. I was just browsing JoAnn clearance and see they have 12×12 and 6×8 Park Lane pads that are summer/patriotic in nature and they are 40% off (bonus!). Happy 4th of July and thanks for all you do.
