Hello friends! After recently using Paper Rose’s Industrial paper collection, I decided to try their Grunge Textures collection. It has some similar industrial designs with a pop of pink color. I really enjoyed turning it into a set of cards. I was only planning on making around 10 cards. But instead, I finished off the entire paper pack.
I used my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial and one paper pad to make 39 cards.
Here is the cardstock I pulled before starting on the 6×6 paper pad. I always pull out way more cardstock than I ever use. I list the brands and colors if I have the information. Some of my cardstock has been in my craft room for many, many years.
In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 11 sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ and 6 sheets of 12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock.
Cardstock colors –
Black – Recollections
Peanut Fudge – Bazzill
Chocolate – Bazzill
Burgundy – Coredinations
Feather Boa – Bazzill
Ash – Bazzill
Flinstone – Bazzill
Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. All of my cards are A2 size. For sketches that don’t include measurements, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Paper Rose Grunge Textures paper collection.

Definitely a unique set of cards, with a lot of pink. I can see why it appealed to you. 😉 Great job on the cards. I was really struck by the cards that looked like the paint was peeling off. It looked very three dimensional! Thanks for sharing, Kristie. 🙂
Thank you, Jeanne! This was a fun paper collection. Of course I loved all the pink. Lol! The paint peeling paper is incredibly realistic looking!
Another great set of cards, and wow–39 cards! I like both the pinks and blues in this paper pad. It’s hard to choose a favorite(s) but if I had to choose, I would say the peeling paint, MFT 506, MFT 203 and the one with the large Hello. Yeah, that’s more than half of them. 🙂 I love the speciality paper in all of them. Thank you!
Thank you, Jen! Another great collection by Paper Rose. I really enjoy their products, but sometimes it’s hard to select which paper to use next since they release a ton every month. Lol!
