Hello friends! At the start of the year, I wrote out a list of crafty goals for each month. One of the goals was to start using Christmas paper pads throughout the year. I will admit I have not been very good at keeping up with my goals so far. (It’s been a busy year already.) But it’s never too early to start on Christmas cards, right? I decided to use Paper Rose’s Christmas Rose paper collection first. I love the traditional colors and all the image and sentiment cut aparts.

I used my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial and one paper pad to make 34 cards.

Or, go HERE to watch it on Rumble.

I forgot to keep track of the brands and colors of solid cardstock this time.

Here are close up pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. All of my cards are A2 size. For sketches that don’t include measurements, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Paper Rose’s Christmas Rose paper collection.

  • Nope, it’s never too early to start and you’ve done a great job here. Very pretty papers and fun dies. I really like the reindeer die. One of the cards looks like you added Peel Offs on the diagonal stripes, but closer inspection revealed it was part of the pattern paper. Thanks for sharing this beautiful set of cards. 🙂

    • Thanks so much! It feels great to get an early start on my Christmas cards. I’ll try to use another Christmas paper collection soon. The little reindeer die is super cute. No Peel Offs in my Paper Rose videos unfortunately. But lots of pretty papers. 🙂

  • Oh Kristie, you enabler you! 🙂 Paper Rose has amazing products. The fonts on their dies and sentiment sheets are fabulous. The red, white and black cards was already turning into my favorite and then you put that darling reindeer/fox on it! Good for you for getting a jump on Christmas Cards. That is actually the next set of cards I am planning to make, too. Oddly enough, we have a slight chance of snow this weekend. Maybe I should make summer cards instead…. TFS!!

    • Expect to see lots of Paper Rose videos. I absolutely love their products and have a huge stack of paper pads just waiting for me to use. They also release a ton of collections every month. No way I can keep up. Lol! How crazy you had a chance of snow. It was very warn here in Western Washington last weekend. Perfect for the final days of my daughter’s spring break. 🙂
