Challenge # 6 for the VCMP is by Julie. Her challenge is to make an AnyHero card using a photograph taken by us. I chose this picture of my daughter running around our front yard enjoying a sunny spring day. Having this picture will make it very easy to write the letter inside the card, because it provides the background for what I will write. And since it’s any AnyHero card, I could use these really pretty, chunky brads that would be way to thick for a regular card.

Challenge #7 is by JoAnn. Her challenge is to make a summertime card for our heroes to send to their families and friends. I figured a lovely firework display usually reminds us all of summertime.

Thanks for visiting my blog today!
Love! Thanks for sharing your fun and summery card on my OWH card party blog! Growing up in a small, remote Cascades Mountains ranching/timber town, our 4th of July would start with the Main Street parade (one yr I was on the swim-team float in my swimsuit & it snowed on us!), then cookouts in the afternoon, and sparklers in the back yard in the evening. The highlight of the day was watching fireworks over the lake. I'm sure your card will bring back special memories for both the sender & recipient.
Cute cards, Kristie! Love that picture of your little one and that ponytail 🙂 One of our heroes will love receiving it. Thanks for playing along in my OWH VCMP challenge!
Two great cards, Kristie! Your daughter is just precious and I think her ponytail just says little girl!
Great cards. I love the idea of the photo which guides the letter inside. Such a cool idea. TFS!
